I'm going to write about my first weekend getaway to York, a historical city which has retained a lot of primitive structures. Walking along the city you will feel like exploring the living museum. Throughout the York visit, the dainty architecture together with the fantastic scenery have left me with an open mouth. It's so amazing!
Gathered at common room (the lobby of our hostel) around 6.45am. Can you see? It is 6.45am early in the morning, the sky already turned bright!
Mua girls!

It only took us about one and half hours to reach York from our hostel. As usual, although sun is burning up there, but the cool breeze makes us feel so refreshing.
The first destination of the day is Clifford's Tower. It is situated in the centre of the city of York. The castle is originally built by William the Conqueror to conquer the rebels of the north. For more info, please visit www.visityork.org !
Clifford's Tower
We did not enter into the tower and just snap some pics (save $$$$$). LOL. Walk around the area nearby. There are lotsa feces of goose along the road, we need to be alert all the time to prevent stepping on it.
They are everywhere.
York Crown Court
so cute right?
Then, we continued to walk along the streets and there are some clothing and accessories shops. Shop around before we reached the second destination, York Minister which is the largest Gothic cathedral north of the Alps.

We managed to snap some pics on the ticket selling area.

Next, we were heading to Museum Garden. On the way to Museum Garden, we saw few weddings were held on that day. And, there was a band marching too.
Congratz!

After 15 minutes of photo session, we left Museum Garden and rushed to National Railway Museum. Along the way, we passed by River Ouse and snap lotsa ss pics of course. LOL.
